Arkin Solbakken LLP won summary judgment on all counts in the Supreme Court of New York on behalf of its client Moelis & Company LLC, in the action styled Moelis & Company LLC v. Ocwen Financial Corp., Index No. 655946/2018 (Sup. Ct. N.Y. County 2018). In March 2022, the Appellate Division, First Department affirmed the Supreme Court’s Decision and agreed that Moelis is entitled to an award of a substantial transaction fee, out-of-pocket expenses, and attorneys’ fees. The Appellate Division, First Department also affirmed the Supreme Court’s dismissal of all counterclaims asserted against Moelis. Moelis was represented by Lisa C.
